Disciplined and Honest

 Diligent and honest are the words that I was given even before we went into meditation. We start each week with conversation. We talk about what is going on in our lives and/or what is going on in astrology. Then out of nowhere as we were talking I said "The best thing we can do in this time period, with all this going on, is be diligent and honest." Later in the meditation we talked more about the definition of the word and disciplined seemed a better fit for the energy that wanted to be conveyed to the majority of the group. Diligent feels resonant for some reading this.


Then surprisingly right as we enertered meditation, beauty came to remind us how important beauty is, and how beauty positively affects our nervous system.


We talked about the masculine and feminine, as that is an astrological theme as of late. Whether that is internal or external, the energy is striving for balance between those energies. We all have masculine and feminine. The being and the doing parts of you, the right and wrong, the human and divine, right brain and left brain. There are other ways to look at this. When these energies come together in relative balance, there is flow.


What is fighting inside you? How do we find balance?


The way we did it in meditation, and in the new work I am doing is:

By breathing into the top of the spine, allowing the intelligence that organizes to come into the spinal column, releasing pressure off the nerves, brings peace into the physical body, which in turn brings peace to the mind.


We talked about the difference in the way I used to work and the way I am working now. In the old work and in general, even when we go to western doctors, we address the problem, the weakness.


In the work I do now, we find where you are resourced, and we take those resources to where you are less resourced. It seems a miracle, with how much more ease we are softening the nervous system.


We are building resilience this way. We are building strategy this way. We are making our lives move along with more grace, even if we have to do hard things. We now have more strength to do them.


We are preparing for the not needing resilience with this too because we can can sustain more of the good things when it is time for that.


Wednesday Evening Gathering


This group changes every week lately. It is always a surprise and delight at who comes and what unfolds. The people are some of the coolest people I run across.


I love how the people who come are feeling and responding to the work. I love how it has changed.
