Control and/or Surrender

Where do you take control? Where is it beneficial to give up control?
This is where we started meditation on Monday.
There is the concept of steering your life in a diretion, and then there is micro management and protective mechanisms that give us a false sense of security and get in the way of allowing our lives to flow in the driection we really want.
May we see through the confusion that keeps us from creating new, healthy patterns that allow us the fullest experience of life.
Where could you surrender to the flow? and where do you need to take control? It is a delicate balance and I am reminded to tell you that it often isn't where you think it is. I know for me, a lot became clear about where I had it backwards while I was abroad.
False sense of security
What are you containing that needs to be free?
Is it your heart that you are containing? Your voice? Your true desire?
Does your stuff give you security? Does having less stuff make you feel more free?
Where are you grappling for security, that isn't creating security at all?
We talked about reverence
How much more reverence can we treat our body and the earth with?
How much more reverence can we come to our spiritual practice with?
Your relationships?
We moved energy through our bodies, down into the creative center and up through the heart.
Your home within is where all your mental and emotional security lies. We breathed into the pelvic floor and up out the top of the head to feel for the security within, the grounding, the peace, the safety.
We stretched the jaw, the place we clench when we are trying to control something uncontrollable or when we hold back our speach.
As you remember your body is your home, this body will help you create a true sense of security as we give up all the false places we put our trust.
This was our third group gathering since I have been back. These last two have been SO powerful. I am watching and feeling everyone benefit from my exposure to the new lands, what I learned and how I have and still am changing from my travels.
Click here to Gather with me Wednesday evening for hot tea, community, the alchemy the bowls have to offer and the energy we all bring as a group.
Private sessions
I am so grateful for the times I invested in private sessions for myself. There is so much we get to in group, and sometimes that is all we need to be inspired to create change.
Sometimes when we are dealing with the most stuck things, the foundational things, it takes a partner, mentor or professional to help us see clearly.
Even with the travel, I needed some fresh eyes while I was away to help process everything I was reorganizing. And I am so grateful I did. It helped me come back new, ready for a relationship that I had been holding at arms length for a year.
If you would like some support to help you uncover your truth or finding home in your body, reply to this email. I would be happy to support you
I have the same schedule Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday all have space for private or semi private sessions if you want to bring your friend or partner.
I love to offer sound baths with your personal theme on your schedule.
So much love
Sheri
