Becoming self possessed

What a process, a life long one for me, to become truly self possessed!
Our work in the nervous system is helping us to become more stable in the body so as to not allow other's energy and opinions encroach on you. Now, I am not saying to be closed minded. I love an open mind, and I love to find out where and how I am out of alignment and what more there is to learn. However, being self possessed allows you to know when to let something new become part of you.
For me, the way I have started to talk about it differently this week, is that a truly powerful person is felt when they walk in a room. This person makes it clear without words that it would be a waste of your time to try to manipulate you.
What motivates you also has a lot to do with being self possessed. When you are motivated by need and want, which have an undertone of lack, is a very different thing than when you are motivated by your true heart's desire.
We worked with the primordial life force energy to shake off all the false identities or ways of being that we were told we were.
"What will you do with this one wild and precious life?" A quote from a Mary Oliver poem came out of my mouth.
We worked deeply in the solar plexus to help us physically embody more life force energy and wake up any sleeping parts of us. Those are usually the most magical parts of us that were shut down as children or even older, when people just haven't believed in the best parts of us.
We spent time in the nervous system increasing our capacity for joy and for witnessing chaos, because that is a practice that takes weeks and months to master.

Wednesday Evening Gathering
This is the theme lately, walking in joy, knowing yourself, getting grounded AND more magical.
I play the sound bowls, we drink a beverage that opens our heart and softens the nervous system. And we Remember ourselves. The parts we lost and hid are free to come out and play now.
We know how to be present when hard things arise and we celebrate each other's empowerment.

Cha House event on Thursday
I will be doing a workshop this week on how to move your nervous system from an unhealthy state to a healthy state. Did you know there is a healthy version of sympathetic? People talk about it like it is only fight or flight. Even dorsal, which is the frozen state has a healthy version.
I am here to challenge what you have thought your nervous system was capable of, and help move you to a far more stable state, more in control of your physical state than you thought.
