Are you weary?

I know I am when things happen like they did last week.

A tree fell from my neighbors yard and took the power off my house and flattened my car.

So far, if the insurance company has their way, this will cost me around $7000 in deductibles and replacing my car. Allstate is horrible.

Monday morning most of my 7 person class was weary for one reason or another. There’s another war, car accidents, life…. All the things.

We have been talking about this all year in meditation gatherings. Lighten the root. Be more flexible. Pivot when you need to. Release or love or accept your resistance.

What if it all works out better than you can imagine? Can we make space in our mind, our body, in our field for something good? Something magical, even?

We were reminded of the both/and kind of attitude. Weariness exists and so does connection and love.

Where are you going to focus? On the hardship or the love? And I’m constantly reminded if you don’t know what to do, do something fun.

Dance, sing, paint, take a walk with a friend. What is fun to you?
