Taking Care of Yourself
We are so programmed to take care of others. Others needs are more important than our own. Being a good mother, wife, friend, sister – this list goes on, is way more important that the selfishness of being true to ourselves and nurturing ourselves. Not to mention our job!
I have to tell you that is a straight up lie. If we don’t take care of ourselves, if we don’t take a bit of time to cultivate a relationship with our higher self and take care of our physical body, we just don’t have the energy to take care of anyone else.
When we put ourselves first, we do a better job of taking care of other people when it is time to do that!
In the video below we have a meditation about self love, compassion, support and a little information about how I have changed the format for the Monday evening class. We all want more connection and more community and this format will help us feel that. We will have class at conscious body healing arts this coming Monday, we will skip Labor Day and then we will begin Sept 10 and resume every Monday after that.

Hey Sheri,
One day after our session, and I can say I honestly feel energized!! I am working on planning my upcoming Staff Retreat, and would like to inquire if you are available on Wed. October 31st, to lead a one hour workshop from 9am – 10am at the 4H Center in Columbiana? I’m looking for a motivator for my team on self care/love, breathing, ways to balance, etc. Please let me know if you are available, and the overview of what you would like to present, and your fee. We can meet prior to the workshop to discuss the details.
Thanks, and I will see you soon at one of your groups. 🙂
I would be delighted to speak to you about that. I will send you an email.
